We are now looking for a Community Library Volunteer Organiser to play a key role in supporting front line volunteer cover and day to day activities.
They play a key role in supporting the library by ensuring that the library has adequate cover to be able to maintain a high level of service and to be able to open. This role has proven a success in the libraries who have a volunteer covering this opportunity.
The role covers:
· Organise the volunteer rota to ensure there is adequate cover for the opening hours.
· Be the point of contact for volunteers and staff to create a sense of a team.
· Arrange cover for volunteers if they are unavailable due to sickness or holiday.
