Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood by holding public meetings, the following priorities were identified:
- Speeding Motorists exceeding 30mph speed limit when driving along the main road through the village - Beech Hill Road.
- Speeding Motorists exceeding speed limit when driving through The Street in Mortimer.
- Anti-social behaviour young people playing football in the area of the Medical Centre causing damage to the building.
Neighbourhood Action Group
These three issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
