THE ROLE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION (RBL)
The motto of the RBL is: "Shoulder to shoulder with all who serve". We meet together regularly to raise funds for the charity, support serving and ex serving members of the community and to celebrate and preserve the best traditions and history of the armed forces. Further information can be found on the national website: http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/
Monthly Branch meetings normally take place at the Burghfield CSA Club in James Lane, Burghfield RG30 3RS, with a guest speaker or a social evening, such as a quiz night or an indoor bowls evening. Please contact the Secretary (see below) for a copy of the annual programme of meetings,
We assemble for a drink and chat from 7.00pm and the Meeting commences at 8.00pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend our Branch Meetings.
Please help to support your local Branch, and keep it vibrant, by becoming a member. Ladies comprise over 35% of our membership and are most welcome to join us at our Meetings. Overall membership remains at 110.
